In 1999, Liz embarked on six years of successful business ownership as an Independent Sales Director for The Pampered Chef, a nationwide kitchen products company. She was consistently in the top 20% of sales, as well as building and overseeing a successful sales force of 22 consultants. She and her team earned several awards and trips. In 2005, she joined CRG Engineering as the company’s very first Marketing Coordinator to develop, oversee, and implement marketing strategy for the firm. She oversaw lead generation and client development and its measurement, wrote a monthly newsletter, and had numerous speaking engagements to publicize the firm’s capabilities. During her tenure at CRG, proposal writing and acceptance increased, and the company won several awards from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2006 and 2007, as well as the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Roaring 20′s in 2007. A firm principal won its 40 Under 40 the same year. Liz held this position until 2009.

Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug once again, in December 2009, she launched Social Strategies.
